Weather here seems to be stuck between about to snow and about to rain while being awfully cold and lots of wind.

Don't really mind snow and rain but I hate cold wind. Seems like theres just about nothing to protect you from it.

i think it comes from a hurricane from somewhere in america (south or middle). the weather that is we got in .dk atm as well

Basically what a 3m storm surge means is that the sea level will rise 3m (about 10 feet) and will be pushed inland by strong currents / hide tide / blown by strong winds.

So imagine a narrow inlet / harbour etc, now imagine water being pushed down it at 80kmph and the water height 10 foot higher than usual. Only this mofo is so big its gonna potentially affect the entire east code of England.
