Because ive tried at 3.30 in the morning, then again at 6 where barely a sole was logged on and still it says momentarily unavailable...shrug...

i mean, whats the point of limiting the use so heavily?...since so many other online pay services doesnt seem to have this anoying feature...

You can tell how busy the pages are by the loading speed.
Around 7am this morning they were lightning fast, but I still couldn't get it. It's not over-loaded, it's just broken.

Wouldnt mind some news from GOA either saying the subs are definately up, just being hammered, or they have taken them down/were never up. Still dont spose the chances of this happening are anywhere near slim

Yes you are talking about several thousand people trying to access their pages. The situation isnt as bad this time with maybe a few hundred trying to access them. Plus they have apparently upgraded the billing servers so there should be less problem.

Theyre not overloaded, they just havent put the sub pages back up yet. If the pages were overloaded then my accessing them at 04:00am would have been sucessful. It wasnt.

I don't believe anybody has been able to subscripe yet. I think the people stating so, are just trying to mess with us or cheer us up? Anyway it's pretty hard to proof!

I don't believe the subscription service are up and running just yet, so don't give us the "to much traffic" message GOA!

But why would GOA post that news thread yesterday and not be true to their word? Maybe they encountered new unforseen problems, in which case they should have supplied us with additional news updates by now.

Or maybe they just had so many problems with the new system yesterday, that they needed to buy themselves some time. In which case they have been lying to us

Anyway i have been trying to register my 2 new DAOC + SI accounts about every 5-10 minutes the last 30 hours (except when i slept) and i have had no luck yet. And i know that there are 100's of you out there that have been doing the excact same thing.

GOA don't keep us in the dark, make the subscription service work now, or tell us why is doesn't work.

also wanted to activate SI on this account but couldnt do it, "validate" link didnt work

well i've been trying to get onto the regertrstion all last night and when i did get on the regerstration thing was totaly broken and then trying to today it's comein up with it's under mantinace... i've played on tones of mmorpgs that have been hacked from time to time but never one that takes 3-4 weeks to fix it

Been trying sice i saw the news non stop. It can't be overloaded cos the page is loading as fast as any other web site i had open... faster in some cases and i was indeed trying non stop through the night till 6am (trying ever like 2 mins) then woke up at 9am and have been trying since then non stop again to avail.

Also last night i was able to load the page where u enter in yr details now i can't even load up that page... seems to me the next stage backwards will be that mocking message "the subs are down hahahahahahahaha.... sorry for the incovenience"

Takes the piss tbh they say subs are up, they say they've made preperations for the onslaught on gamers wanting to renew or activate their stuff and yet out of the whole BW community i've only seen 3... 3 ppl say they have renewed/activated and i won't even bother counting the number of ppl who can't get in. Ah well maybe in a few more weeks when the webby can handle more than 2 ppl renewing at the same time i'll be able to renew my accs

yesterday wasnt half as bad as today, the page either takes eeons to load and comes up with a DNS error if left, OR it dont load fast enough (99% this one) the feckin inconvenience message doesnt even get refreshed on my comp, it stays loaded ffs
and nearly 36 hours is a tad longer than momentarily.

i did have a rant lined up, but i'm getting oon my own nerves hehe
