Any1 can share any info about Courier missions?

Tried yesterday 5 times, all 5 finished with us being killed by red con guards, any1 knows the amount of cash it rewards once done? Would be interesting to know it, and if those couriers move on road or all over the places. Thanks

You get 240g if you complete it solo, i belive if your in a group its shared equally, i.e 3 people = 80g each etc..

When i did one i stealthed and stuck to the courier, 20 minutes later, hey presto 240g :great:

And yes they do seem to wander about all over the place on there route.

all who got the task that is in a certain range (close to visionrange I think it was) from the courier when he is killed will share the reward, grouped or not. From what I have read in the patchnotes atleast.

I can tell you one thing about it, it is a balls ache

3 of us did the Crimm to Scath run with the slow arsed stupid courier who i would not want delivering my Pizza cos byt the time he got it to me it would be mouldy.

He doesnt know his way round We walked ( and slow) all over the frontiers, he walked thru orange agro to a 50 countless times. All 3 of us got the task failed after an hour but 2 of us followed him and about 15 mins over the hour he went to Scath and we got 120g each.

May of been worth doing if we werent grouped but imho it is poo certainly not worth the hassle.

Can you actually stealth when walking next to and touching mobs that are agro and orange to a 50 ?

So the facts r:

1. It moves very very slow.

2. It got random routes or just wandering around? We went both alb and mid to try it but all times end up with red con guards on us (and they REALLY enhanced patrols now once keep is upgraded) since hib NPC seems to get 0 task for us, period :/

Courier moves in a straight line from 1 keep to the next, over hills, through forests, through water, etc.

Courier is lvl 55, has self buffs, and has IP

He hits for around 300-400 damage on a chain tank at about 3.0 speed.

Award given is 240g, which is devided evenly among the people in the immediate vacinity.

Walks at Encumbered pace (IE: walking)

And thanks for those courier missions noche, I got 1p for defending him with no work involved

The problem´s that DL NPC never gives any damn courier protection mission...

So the third thing is that he just moves STRAIGHT from one point to another and at ver slow speed.

And the forth thing is that he hits pretty hard aha...

Can´t really do intercept missions in alb due to pennine´s high aggro and red con guards

You can only get defend-missions in DL/DC if a mid/alb clicked their corresponding NPC at their portal-keeps to get a kill-mission (no need to defend if noone is out to kill him )
Defend-missions are piss easy, since you don't have to walk alongside him all the time: find the courier, get your task, go to the target-keep and wait for the gold. Of course he might get killed by invaders that way, but fortunately albs and mids rarely leave emain
Haven't tried the kill-missions yet, but regular patrols seem to be the biggest threat here, but the money should still be ok if you do it with 2-3 people.

Oooook, we just did (or rather tried) a kill-courier mission. The worst downside was that the courier we needed to kill was walking outside the zone-wall-boundaries ( was a courier from Nottmoor to Bledmeer), and this bug only gets fixed in 1.55.
In theory we could have ganked him on the last 50 metres outside Bled, when he finally entered the zone again, but we were kind of busy with an unlucky guard-pull

Yes, and with 2-3 ppl it´s extremely hard, red con guard commander is a pain in the ass to kill, damn even orange scouts can block AND PARRY!

Which exact guards is it that you are supposed to talk to?

One in DL near pad, but he rarely got any protection stuff coz no albs will even bother to grab a kill task.

Or in alb/mid at hpk inside tower second floor (u know wot I mean) u can try a kill task, but it´s hard vs claimed keep guards...
