Any Server Historians around?

After the date of the Relic Raid Weekend that we had against midgard. I _think_ it was around october time, but need the exact date. It started on a friday, lasted all day saturday and I _think_ culminated in a succesful capture of hib power relic on the sunday mornign. All I can remember is Wels carrying it heh.

If anyone knows what weekend that was, Id be apprecitave.

I only remember a RR where Blood or Azal was stuck in some keep along with other shadowblades.
Thats the only RR that has left an impression on me

Azal had a skald with him, as he was a designated relic carrier and he made it back to midgard without problems.

I wasnt supposed to take a relic, but with albs attacking, albs at the relics, and nobody seeming to rush upstairs, i stealthed up, quickly snatched the relic and ran for it.. the rest of the story is told with these pics:

Hehe well the skald only found me when I hit the north wall of penni, I'd ran direct through 3-4 aggro spawns solo trying to avoid anyone following me to get there

[edit] In reply to the thread topic, that was the weekend hibs & albs spent pretty much the entire weekend bashing down mid keeps wasn't it? Not the time when we found Nilo hiding in the GG's foot with a relic

Go to RVR discussions and change the option at the bottom of the page to:
from the beginning

Then look around a bit
Think you should find something about every Relic Raid there was

It's quite entertaining to read the first few postings after the board was created, btw When Mids were Camping APK in Emain 24/7 and Sinister camped Snowdonia and killed FGs of people trying to get some decent armor, since Barrows wasn't itemized back then

Been leveling my Inf the last 3 months.
Was just sick of my Earth Wizzie who couldn't kill anything,
so I picked up my Inf I made ages ago and started leveling him again

Finally dinged 50 last week, so expect loads of Killspam from the most unskilled Infiltrator ever, soon

Believe I've worked it out from various events that took place .. If anyoone can now confirm the dates as being Friday 22nd November 02 - Sunday 24th November, I'd be grateful.

Blood, Azal, thanks for reminding me of that raid. One of Midgard's trully legendary days. A relic raid that worked, and was trully fun.

Me and my guild ran off to take Erasleigh, I think we were < 2FG. It was the last ever ram I put up with Big G I believe. I was bashing down the last door while you guys were on the Relic doors...the tension built...

Then word came that you had the relic and were running around somewhere in the Penines...that's when I got given the go ahead to track you down and intercept, and escort you home. I swear to this day you didn't stop jumping for 2 minutes when we met north of Sursbrooke.

And then, we "snuck" our FG past a horde of Albs and Mids that were fighting, and past the Hibbies that were attempting to intercept.

What a rush. And what an honour. Those were the days.

Actually i joined you guys at Benowyx x-roads, i followed the zonewall past the groovewoods where Axan joined my group for speed, and was never anywhere near Sursbrooke.

Mids had killed all the enemies at mmg before we arrived. The parade from mmg to mpk was awesome, with me yelling something like "WE GOT THE RELIC, ALL MOVE TO MPK" all the way and most mids following along

Sounds like the raid on the day the PvP server went live. If it is, the preamble that led to that is one of my happiest RvR memories to date. Fantastic teamwork leading up to it and then on the day

EDIT: referring to Mid raid, not Alb of course

Those dates sound about right to me, I'll check as if I remember correctly Wibbler and I dinged 50 on that Friday night and missed the 1st wave of attacks as we were determinded to get there that day..

Confirmed, I just found my I dinged 50 post on here and it was that weekend, raids started about 7pm GMT with door bashing if I remember rightly, Joined the raiding on the Saturday and Sunday and picked up our epics in between waves of attack.
