any other lgm SC:s going booom?

i've lent a lgm-SC:er a while now to SC some equipment. the first sets i did worked prefectly, nothing at all went wrong. but now after the catacombs-release everything goes BOOM. anybody else who has this problem? i'm using korts SC-calc at the moment, but since it hasn't been updatet in quite i while i'm thinking the SC-calculations might have changed. anyone know a accurate SC-calc that i can use? i'm abit tired of blowing up MP-pieces

anyway on topic, ive done several 5.5 OC with as low as 4x 97% qual gems (lazy) and havnt blown anything up before

as for SC calc im using LOKI at the mo, i paid for it mind, but if u want to use it send me a pm, ill give u my registration code (i still owe u for that battler u gave me )

the SC calc has nothing to do with going b00m ...
if you have more than 5.5pt OC then the game won't let you do it at all, as simple as that.

main reasons for going boom:

- sc'ing items with only 3 gems because the 4th slot (empty) will count as 94% quality -> go figure whats gonna happen

- 99% items are more likely to blow up than MP items with the same amount of OC points -> use better quality gems on 99% gear

- bad luck ;-)

im probly albs most active SC'er atm do 1-2 orders a week and havent blown 1 thing up yet...... just make sure u have 2x 99% an 2x 98% minimum an u should have no problem and the game wont let u go over 5.5 OC so really shouldnt be blowing things up .... doesnt make sense that it would sudenly start happening .

rani!!! so that's where you disappeared to i always wondered if it was the same bonglover that used to go hamstermode

(i can't remeber ever having a battler, so i think you got it from somebody else. i did buy you a MP 2-hand-hammer cause my eyes hurt when you smashed up DC-doors with battler/malice )

I only use 99% gems for OC

Anyone who uses gems less than this should expect Booms
Also if your skill is under 1001 then expect booms


I've done almost 20 full suits 5.5 OC and not got a single boom.

that would be the smart thing to do i lent the account cause i wanted to try and play a RvR-shaman. then i remebered that he was a lgm SC and i thought i'll do all my SC:ing myself. i asked some other SC:ers what to do. they said they used korts SC:ning and aslong the result wasn't BOOM or Imposible then everything would work. and so it did the first cpl of times and i was happy but after the patch the program didn't to is thing and stuff started to blow up. hence the FH-question =)

when i was kitting the char out, i hosted a few malice + battler raids to try and get the artis, you came on one of my battler raids, and won the roll for the arti, then gave it to me

is use 97% because im lazy, still can blow up using em, best to do 3x 98 and 1x 99 on each piece u want to OC, dont want to blow up any more MP stuff

ive done about 15 sets easy using 97-98% gems, and never blown anything up, and tahts 5.5 OC, 4x 99% gems is over the top imo

usually use a mix of 98/99s but if doing orders will usually offer the person the choice since is a slight added risk at that level but can be much cheaper
