hullo thar!

any of you orrible lot from Iceland? (the place not the chavvy supermarket that is) just wondering if you could let me know whats the best (i.e. cheapest and easiest) way to get there got a mate in Amsterdam who wants to go for holiday and its phenominally expensive for him to fly from holland so wondered if its cheaper to go and fly from somewhere else?

As for Iceland, I was going to go a couple of years back and the flights were just silly money. I wish SleazyJet would start flying there.

Yea, Iceland is a pain to get to. Flights are expensive as they are so rare

you can take a boat if you're adventurous. iirc it stops in the Shetlands and at the Faeroe Islands too.

actually

check flight prices from Schiphol Airport (amsterdam) to the States/Canada first.
lots of cheap flights, (sometimes due company actions). and from there price to iceland. perhaps its cheaper then the once in 2 year airplain that goes to iceland.

but if iceland doesnt have a airport... I believe hey can steal one of those tourists boat in amsterdam and goto iceland
