Thats the biggest load of bollocks i have heard in a very long time.

The people that actually do all the hard work etc etc etc are not necessarily the ones that get the benefit from their hard work!

The ones with the pay rises, promotions etc are the ones that manage to pull the wool over peoples eyes and leapfrog over the people that actually do the real work...

It's definitely not bollocks and conversely it would be a sad world if your scenario was the actual truth. I suspect that it's somewhere in between. I'm sure that there are many people who don't get recognised for their hard work but there is a difference between 'hard' work and useful work.

In my experience though doing the bare minimum will get you nowhere. Putting a little bit extra will pay off most of the time.

Obviously though Mcdonalds is a different story. They are the fucking scum of the earth. I wouldn't worry too much about rocking the boat here. Do your best to get what's entitled and fuck the 'intelligent' boss. The latter should be literal if she is fit.

Ok, that is some scary-ass "management" going on then There used to be a website with lots of McDonalds horror stories of staff who demanded their right to breaks, minimum days off etc... Once higher management got involved, the lower ones caved in. But they got back at the staff by cutting their hours to the point that full time workers were given less hours than the part timers
