replaces all the spells and ml abilities from all the quickbars with crap (in my case 1st level group heal) at every visit to the king to get the cl ding?


note: this happens to my chanter, also happened to a guildie's chanter... bug was not present for my hero or druid

I have the same thing, tried to make a backup of my .ini files and reset them whenever it happend but that failed as DAoC seems to change the backup .ini file aswell as the original .ini file.
So I just made a restore point in Windows when all my Qbars were ok and whenever it happends now I just do a system restore and restore it to that date that my Qbars were ok.

Can also just burn the .ini files on a CD which would work also although costing you a CD everytime you decide to change something in your Qbars.

You should be able to copy your .ini files to a different folder, and when your current one bugs, you just log out and copy it back from the other folder - it worked for me.

Ye, that is exactly what i did after the second visit to the king with my chanter, bit annoying but is a effective 'workaround'.
The bad part is it happens to my vamp as well and not only for cl dings but also when respecing realm abilities :/

havent happened once since i downgraded the ATI drivers, as GOA mention in their faq. see the other gfx card thread, i posted there.

Sucks that you got to downgrade your computers drivers to get ONE game to work properly.

This is not a gfx card issue, just a plain old bug in the game. Mispost maybe?

Happens here too. On my Theurgist, I get all my spells on my quickbars (other than the Path of Earth baseline ones) replaced my the Level 1 group heal CL ability each time I click on the King to ding.

Nah not really, havent had the bug for almost 2 weeks now, since i did the driver downgrade. Could be that i have been very lucky. but i doubt it has much to do with luck. as i got that bug every 4 logins or smt.

i have had this when i get a new abil... and the other abils change theyr positioning a bit on ur toon, so i get messed up qbars couse of that

Had that problem on merc, then nothing else didnt change anything!

yeah i got it a few times too, its amazinf how quickly you can redo qbars after the 6th time
