I got this "Albion Polearm" while killing some mammoths near Delling Crater (the new Midgard SI zone.) This item is TOO random imo

btw, as you can see it has pretty sucky stats

lol the best I have seen so far was a Thrust Polearm with the following stats:

Slash +3
Piety +4
Str +40 ish

Did I laugh or wot......

For those that cant see the problem here, the pole was thrust skill and the clerics and Pallys use Pie BUT cant use Poles..

what's wrong with cha and emp in hib? unless they are both on the same item then i can see why it's useless.

bards use cha
druid/wardens use emp
no class in hib that uses both

It's some of the uniqe drops in hib that have both +emp and +cha on the same item. And char is used as powermodifire for bards and emp for wardens and druids. So to have those 2 stats on same item is stupid

And well. This doesn't make it a stupid item, it just makes it 'useable by more than one class'... Okay, it may not be a very powerful item to either, but not useless.


A Polearm dropping in Midgard IS a useless item (it can't be used at all)

A 2H hammer dropping with +Cave, +LA and +Shield isn't quite a useless item (it can still be used at least), but it has completely useless stats which will give no benefit to any classes.

Char and Emp are/where usefull because the bard mana pool was/is originally based on emp not charisma (big drug users over at Mythic). Same for mincers btw, who promptly cried a river and 16 months later mythic fixed and moved it into charisma (not sure if we have it yet in europe).
