Any action in bg atm?

played in bg last time for about 1-2 weeks or something. i'm currently lvling up a healer to 24 for bg, but is it still good action there?

hmm, thidranki is full of noobs imho If you want to heal etc you'd better lvl to 35 and have a good time there...

Oh I dont know about that, sure those infiltrator's and nightshade's are a pain in the ass, but with bladeturn my Runemaster survived almost all sniper's in the 20-24 bg's, and constantly moving around help's a lot against infiltrator's.

n00b alert!

I don't mind admitting to being a RvR / BG n00b, so here is my n00b question:

What does a Minstrel do in keep attack / defence? Play powersong? I can see run song + stun being pretty deadly in "roaming" RvR, but when the location is fixed I can't figure out if I'm supposed to do something active or just stand there playing me bongos.

Any advice appreciated (unless relating to personal hygene).
