Hope GOA gets this patch-update-hotfix...whatever it is they use to track em down..very fast...

And they also do some effort to track down those muppets that use it...couple of perma bans...and sure 80% of the people using it atm will think twice about using a radar again.

Atm it seems daoc is turning into counterstrike more & more each day...altho counterstrike was a free game, it sucked to have cheaters...but you had xxx servers you could play on.
For daoc there are only a limited amount of servers you can play on...and we all pay our subcription each month to GOA...

But it's good news to see they finally are taking action against em.

because if they get banned no1 will know and they will make a leaving thread and everybody will wish em luck etc etc not knowing what cheating bastards they were....

where as if they get rp's reset EVERYBODY will know who the losers are!! then instead of "good luck mate your a awesome player" there leaving thread will consits of "good riddance you cheating wanker"

/agree, i imagine one or two of the people on here are abusers themselves

even better idea Goa should say they arent going to use the same methods then a week after NF they switch the anti-cheat software on and bam a load of people with 0 RPs - also take these RP's away from the guild (players personal contribution ofc) shock tactics are whats called for.

Certainly a step in the right direction. Would still like to see heavier punishments though - a 7 day ban is not nearly enough - though I think if they get caught again they are banned permanently? In my mind they should also name and shame these people on the official site so that everyone can see just whose been cheating these past years.

I love it. Retards complaining that they cancel their account if they cannot use their radar to roxor in rvr... oh, the logic, they probably claim others cheat by using radar (thinking they are the only ones allowed to do it).
And yes, I really hope GoA introduces it in Europe without a warning. The feckers have been cheating for 2 years, I want them caught red handed and banned for life. Also, I want them named and shamed!
Just start it the scanning now, and publish the result list after 3 weeks or so...
All those feckers will have some lame excuse, like their retarded kid brother with a seeing disorder did it, but will be funny.
