For the past few weeks, i been getting fed up of daoc and most of its players. cuz every day i see people flaming 1 another calling eachother noobs etc and critisising the way eachother play.

To be honest what is the need in flaming - every1 makes mistakes just let them get on with it and learn the game. also ive seen high RR guild mates not allow low RR guild mates in guild as they are considered gimped? but how the hell are people sposed to get higher RR if they aint allowed in a group?

just wish people wud give eachother respect in the game atm

this is kind of a whine but mainly an appeal to treat 1 another wit respect after all its a team game etc - however flame other realms all u want and whine about classes need nerfing

I wouldn't like having a "n00b" that doesnt know how to play in a standart grp that is setting up for RVR action. No offence but it had happened to me many times and it was pretty annoying. We all make and made mistakes but imo in order to learn how to play you must have a macro like this... "/y Xclass LFG" and press it MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANY times every day untill people get to know you and you have climbed some RR's. For sure you cant rely on random grps but one must learn before demanding anything. Guildies are just to chat in most Guilds so you have to make your own way to the top without expecting anything from anyone. Also... in every guild there are (dont know the exact english word) people that hang out more often together and they prefer people they know well or more or even (that is certain) higher RR.

Its got worse because there are sooooo many ebayed chars out there now, annoys me when u see some arse in any chat channel with a L50 RR3+ char saying "Wheres Jamtland?" or "what way is Bledmeer from Nottmoor?". Thats a true n00b.

ye but the point is, help eachother, and random groups are just owned quite easily in rvr by big guilds etc, therefore if ur gonna let some 1 join ur guild let em play wit u at least

So how are you supposed to learn if your arent aware of the mistakes you make? If i had a thane(gimp) standing all day lfg, I think id rather know that it's due to my gimped class that i dont get a group than guessing what im doing wrong. If i sucked at playing a char(n00b) and didnt get any groups id rather know that its due to me being shit than guessing the reason. And in all honesty these words are frequent in the daoc community, so finding out their meaning isnt hard.

Why your guild let you join i dont know, maybe they had high expectations on you and you didnt fulfill them. Or maybe they just needed to get a crafter(if you craft ofc). In any case i think you whould be better off with another guild . Im sure there still are alot of guilds who dont care if you are a gimp or n00b so just join one of them.

sum people want good rvr and for sum people alot of fun comes from winning..
no 1 enjoys dieing over and over again and thus u dont wanna inv people who cba to do toa or just arent very good and dont take rvr that seriously.
thus they have no right to QQ about not getting good rvr grps.

u think i as a cleric find it fun when people in my grp cant cover my arse from pets and such shit.
