And I guess to answer the question. There is no way that we are jealous, but bitterness is rife.
And, quite possibly, a feeling of being threatened by something/one unpredictable and dangerous - for all the reasons above and more.

I'm not jealous or bitter.

I just hate the fat, thick cunts that make up 90% of the US population.

I think it's the "thick" bit that pisses me off most......

OK, of the two, would you be more worried about the Americans accidently launching their best weapons at Europe because they mispell Iraq, or the Irish making the same mistake?

I think the Irish are more likely to do it - but their rockets would never reach here.

The Yanks may do it on bonfire night though because they may mistake our fireworks for "targetted anti-aircraft fire" ;)

And lets not forget, you could fire something in the opposite direction and still meet the American definition of "targetted". I mean, otherwise those American bombs might not have hit the enemy after all...
