Hi Yaka

Sadly I have zero experience with this, but a quick search indicates you can replace the dual PSUs if you so wish. However, I'm sure the others here will be better placed to advise you.

Good luck!

Kind regards

Yeah, they're just standard supplies, it's an easy job to whip them out and replace with a more suitable counterpart :)

Why would you want a P190 if you are gonna remove the PSUs? Isn't the P182 a much better choice then?

190 is the larger case plus i can source them for well under retail and ebay the psus, so the the price diff wont matter much.

P190 is larger yes, not always a plus. And P182 is not exactly on the small side either. P182 already has excellent airflow, so I'm not really sure how big difference even more fans does. Surely the p190 will be cooler tho. But more fans also means more noise, but not everyone is as picky about the noise emitted from the box (with that said I'm not saying p190 is a loud box :p).

Another thing to take into consideration with the PSUs. One of them don't have any power connector for the motherboard, so might be hard to sell. And make sure you get a PSU with long cables if you change PSU. Cause as i said the case is really big and you don't want to have to short cables :)

Still, you can't go wrong with either of them (Antec pwns). I just prefer really quiet computing so i will favour p182. Even then my favorite is Antec Solo :p

well the typ0 i was referring to is on the fan controllers, whichs makes em pretty silent

you are right about the psus tho 1 dont have all the connections.

i want one coz having looked at the size of both the 182 se (crap mirror finish but with nice sleek black interior) i figure the 190 will be better for me as i plan to tick in a itx board in there so it will also help me reduce desk clutter

If you got any decent fans you will get fancontroller regardless (or "fanmate"). But still, it's a great case and it doesnt seem like i can change your mind! Go for it I'm sure you wont regret it :p

Don't know about the P190.

But I own both the P180 and P182 from Antec on my two computers. They are excellent cases with an excellent layout. On the P182 you can guide the PSU cables behind the motherboard (provided the cables are long enough). And they are very sleek and look awesome and classy. :)

One negative is that they are very heavy so no LAN everyday.
They've also got a blue light to indicate harddisk activity which is not recommended for dark rooms.

Otherwise, can't recommend these enough!

I had a P182 just swapped it for a CM690 i think only thing i found wrong with it was the gfx card a 8800 gt with the power attached meant you could not use one of the Hard Disks in the top caddy.

Are you talking about the p182 or the CM690?
