Scarey.

Ran a few miles and decided to call in the running club. Lads were chatting so I went to empty my bladder. Very dark toilet area and I didn't bother putting the light switch on. Looking at the urinal when urinating - big communal white one - I noticed my pee was dark. Odd, so I switched the light on. Blood everywhere. Nearly fainted with shock as the blood seemed a hell of a lot. Showed a mate and he mentioned beetroot. Well I had a few slices earlier in the day as it happened. Still it didn't look right to me. Didn't smell right either - smelled of blood to me. Ran another 4 miles home and urinated into a cup. Pure red goo now as in pure blood. Drank 4 pints of water fairly quickly and it seemed to clear. Happened again though 2 days after when I went running and no beetroot this time. Rested for 3 days and went running tonight without any blood. What the hell was that!

If you urinate blood go to the doctor. Could be anything from a mild urinary infection to cancer. Don't even think about not getting it checked out. ATB

Having been in the situation of having blood coming out of a hole, you should get it checked pretty fucking quick.

On the nastier end of the spectrum it can be any one of several dozen things, all of which will end up with you in a pine box in the near future if you dont get it looked at.

Then again if someone is stupid enough not to go to the doc's after pissing half a pint of blood then we probably dont want them surviving to add to the gene pool anyway!

I've had my my urine go pink from garden beet (is that the same thing?). Very light pink, looked more like some sort of soda. If it was _red_ i would really advice you as most people here to go see the doctor. And don't worry, don't think Toht has any followers here
