It's a very good card but i prefer 6800GT's at that price range since you got 16 pipelines out of the box...you should pay £30 more or so and get a 800XT or if you can get a 800XTPE then go for that since then you got the best card out at the moment too.

I'm no compeuoghter genius, but to me they both look pretty much the same, what actually is the difference?

X800 Pro

- 475MHz GPU Core clock speed
- 12 Pixel rendering pipe-line core

X800XT

- 500MHz GPU Core clock speed
- 16 Pixel rendering pipe-line core

X800XT PE

- 520MHz GPU Core clock speed
- 16 Pixel rendering pipe-line core

Extra speed essentially :)

Graphics cards are currently the fastest changing PC component, always best to get the best card you can afford to future proof yourself as much as possible imo.

The 800XT is best value of those 3 really...you will not see any difference games compared between that and a XTPE.Think on overclockers you can get 800XT's for around £300 now.That or a 6800GT is best value for that price range i think.
