I figured it out. The links only work if you double-click and the thing isn't pinned to the desktop.

I laugh at those ppl who try so hard to make their windows desktop look like OSX.. they're clearly in denial about wanting to own a mac and should just bite the bullet.

Anyway, work desktop.

I wouldnt use a Mac even if you gave me one!

But I do like the look of their OS....and thats about it really

they still crash, but not as often. But when they do go, they go big time.
Just had to reset the PMU on my iBook coz it just went off and wouldnt reboot. shit myself :/ thought i had a dead ibook!

all is good now thought. Apple Knowledgebase is your friend!

I use several Macs at work - but we also have the need for windows machines and personally I don't like the way XP looks...

So your point is?

Xav, thats what 'classic' theme is for in XP, so you can turn off all that "My First Computer(tm)" looking shite in XP by default.

In my defence (not that I need to, I'm not running an OSX theme, just Yz'Dock), I rather like the Dock Bar :)

However, seeing as the Dock is little more than a poncy version of the Windows Quick Launch toolbar, it doesn't really constiture Mac penis envy.

As for the theme, I use one of the common "Watercolour" themes, with the little flourish of squares to the right of the title bar, with the rest just quite minimal really, other than a nicer looking start menu.

I believe that it was the "test theme" for XP Pro - real shame that they dumped it.

And, seeing as Watercolour is so nice, and Luna is too young for the teletubbies, I utterly dread to think what will follow on from the God awful looking Longhorn test theme (Plex, to be replaced by something called "Aero" for the final release aparently).

An Apple Mac is a glorified Typewriter. Great for Journalists but crappy for serious computer users
