Another +1 Strafer whine

Understandable stealthers doing it vs u, and bonedancers <not that they need to though>. But now im getting Zerkers Warriors and Feckin Blademasters doing it. Grow some Balls plz , your friggin melee classes, if your gonna fight me, fight me head on. I might look like an armoured fortress but my weps slow as hell, i bet a zerk could beat me one on one or a blademaster if they tried.

Roll a wussy class if u wanna strafe. Oh and b4 the oh so original someone got pwned remark comes up. I didnt, in fact i lost about 2 matches out of 8 to strafers, but its still pathetic. Same old whine... good , so many people moan about people not solo or duelling these days, maybe this is why, cos i dont wanna fight people who sink to slimy tactics like that <oh and /face /stick does bugger all to help especially with run throughs>

No thats a different kettle of fish entirely.. if say i stun someone ill strafe round to the side to pull off a positional. what i dont do is hold down strafe left or right so i move in a continous circle around someone so that they constantly get the target is not in view message/or - make u land a base hit instead of a style. Now like i said, fair do's even though it pisses me off, a stealther or archer in melee shuld do this cos he isnt going to beat me in straight melee. But im moaning about the tank classes that keep doing it. A beserker does not need to resort to that kind of cheap tactic or god forbid, i even had a hammer warrior do it to me. Hammer warrior vs a 2handed arms in crush weak armour ? ...

and i play a valk but the important fact is if your attacking me then your missing out of the 2 warlocks im grouped with about to hit you in the face with some evil death

strafing is part of the game live with it or use /face solves a lot of problems

Weren't you listening? /face makes sod all difference if someone is strafing, you still get not in view constantly.

Just adjust your style after the enemy you are fighting. If he strafes then counterstrafe or move backwards, it's really not hard.

O...K except.. /face breaks if u move forwards or backwards completley destroying the point of doing that. I still think people r missingthe point here. Its not all the strafers im moaning at. Its the melee combat classes that dont need to do it. And as for runthroughs... well thats even lamer. At least with strafing u can semi counter it by guessing when to press your style button , runthrouhs completely fuck up any kind of chance u have of hitting with a 2hander

Anyway i respecced to shield now lol. Tbh the dmg varience isnt all that worse considering that u hit quicker.

Well if your smart you will walk backwards away from the strafer they will have to follow you and they cant straf keeping them in front of you...... then you can use you movement keys to keep him in the right view

tbh holding down straffe all the time in a fight will just fuck both people up. The good thing for Albion in that case is that since they tend to have 3 to 1 anyway they can just get a tank to go all straffy whilst the other two kill the attacker.

The UI I use has the health bar of the enemy hovering just below me, right clicking on this bar makes me /face. Its a damn handy feature for teh strafers.

Whilst I dont strafe myself I do use runthrough alot on slow weapow wielders. I think thats not so bad personally.

I've found if someone goes all straffy on me what works best is just running at them and manually turning around with the mouse and running at them again. Seems to give me a wide arc as I spam styles.
