annoying?

guys is team balance in the servers switched on? this only really applies to the first part of the thread,the bottom bit is just about how annoying this player was.

I came accross this annoying little dimwit today (I won't mention no names,I'll just call him "mr annoy").anyway the team where 3v2 on and1 (3 red v 2 blue) as you would expect red went ahead early so this player decided it would be good to be a glory hunter and switch teams making it 4 v 1, one red player left (making it 3v1 still) this annoyed the single player on blue so I switched you catch the drift?

In the end there was just three players left,myself, a new guy and this annoying player,we were all on the same team due to "mr annoy" switching as he didn't want to play 2 on 1,I went on blue to start the game up again and as soon I switched "mr annoy" switched as well.Being as he had been "glory hunting so much I switched back to the other team with the new guy,he left soon after because he was F'd off because of this guys switching and ruining the game.

That just left me and him,he got an early cap as I ranted on at him about what he had done.When i decided to start playing I went 2 up on which point he said "bye" and left.This guy managed to clear a server just because he couldn't handle losing.surely there must be a way we can stop this! It's hard enough getting BW servers with players in them now days without having nitwits like him ruining the game for other players and clearing the server.

seen it, heard it and hate it.

errr, the teamswitching I mean. I try to keep the teams even in numbers but sometimes that makes me switch 4-5 times and often that is the last map I play on a server

yeah I'm not fussed about having to switch teams if the teams are uneven by more than one.It's just the annoying ones who create totally uneven teams just to glory hunt

The most often occurence of it I see is when a new player drops to spectate as soon as they connect,waits a few minutes too see what team gets the most caps then joins them even if it makes the losing side one man down,which really is a crappy and unfair way of playing the game.

I said "look what you've done! it's lame ass players like you who clear servers and make people dislike the game!" a bit harsh i suppose but then again he did it so many times he deserved it.

i can honestly say i cant remeber the last time i played
an EF game when teams were tidy throughout,
i dont mind changing its as you said when people
go out of their way to bugger the teams up it just ruins
the entire concept of CTF.
there is just no reason why people do it
always amazes me peolple see a guy running across the cliff in Geo and will lambast him until he quits it,
yet they seem perfectly happy to play ther was one game
last week teams were 7-3 hehe me being on the 3
it is annoying.i agree 100% with you

Teamballance has always been a problem & those 'gloryhunters' ,as u call them ,don't realy help much.
That is prob. why I almost never play on pubs anymore.

Ah well ..... I'll just have to take it out on my fellow paddy's then, in a clantrain.
