Annoying 'which software to open with' box

Whenever I plug my Canon D60 into the computer, I get this annoying 'what software would you like to use to open this device' blah blah shit. In the past, all the other devices had a big crossed red circle to make it go away forever, but I don't get this option.

Is there any way to stop it? I just want it to appear as another drive in My Computer, which it does after I've cancelled these silly dialogues. My other devices don't have this problem, so I'm assuming its a Windows thing.

Try:

Properties -> Autoplay

Then in the dropdown box, for each media type specify an action. Then choose take 'no action' perhaps.
