Annoying start sound

So when i start up daoc, and its fully updated, i press the Mythic Logo to log in, that really loud sound pops. How the hell do i remove it?

press mute, 1 sec later, press mute again.

The sad part is they already cut the sound volume in half on that part, yet its still 3 times as loud as it should be.

on windows 7, click on volume, go on mixer, you can change volume for different applications and the DAoC login thing is different to the rest of DAoC so you can mute it forever!
