What does she like?
What hobbies she doing?
She an adventurous type, or a homey type?

What i'm asking here is that of info on your better half, since you'd be happy with a 4 day steak&blowjob extravaganza :D

Bruge is meant to be a bit of a winter wonderland, but quite busy that time of year,

also Rome is amazing at anytime of year, probly best in april/may or sept/oct as it's like 30-40 degrees in july/aug and very mild in winter, rarely below 0 tho, i think at the hieght of winter its like 2-3 so dec maybe 5-8 shouldn't be too bad

Oh right, Lapland during the winter is quite a sight, especially if your country isn't that snowbound. Not sure what kind of locales this year will be, but a possibility none the less.

Very outdoorsy though. And cold, could get really cold :p

Somewhere Mediterranean (Spain, Italy, etc). So much nicer than the usual Christmas shite over here.

Don't go to Bruges, go to Gent. Awesome, with 98% less tourists!

Austria for Christmas.

Personally I don't think it's Christmas unless it's cold.

Krakow could be another option. Beautiful city and will have lots of snow as well as Christmas markets. If you do go then make sure to do an afternoon or morning at the Wieliczka salt mine. This can be combined with a trip to auschwitz but may not be appropriate!

exactly....why do you want to go somewhere cold & snowy? Oh yes, the Austrians are famous for giving a "vorm velcome"....

I spent one Xmas & new year in Spain - it was heavenly. No blinking Christmas carols, no Noel Edmonds, no tinsel in Tesco, no rain followed by an inch of snow closing the country down for 3 weeks...just warm weather, the sound of the sea & enough garlic prawns to fill a fisherman's underpants.

seconded Vae's suggestion of Krakow.....its fairly cheap, beautiful, lots to see and the salt mines are a must....

I have another plan and need some more ideas hehe :)

Yes, I plan to be soppy :) anyway, my plan...

I want to do some kind of love letter which I can take down into 31 pieces...

so for december this year I would like to send her 1 piece of the letter every day for the whole of december...

She likes Medieval times, so I was thinking something like an old scroll with old hand writing on it... what do you think?

end of the day m8 you know her better than us, cos we dont know her at all basically ;)

throw some romance her way and it wont matter if your camped under a bridge next to the M1

as for the poem thing ask yourself one question will she love it or will she feel slightly awkward lol

be prepared for center parcs to cost a bomb its the extras they get you with you pay for everything :) still should be fun

dont forget to buy her something nice too :p

The ice hotel in Sweden would probably have been fairly cool(heh) otherwise. Plenty of reason to snuggle up when you're sleeping on a block of ice.

my brother did that. said it was quite ironic that due to health and safety, they had to put a Fire Door in one of the corridors.

Ergo - the only thing that would burn in that corridor would be the fire door.
