Animist spec/spots for leveling?

Well im making a animist and im totally new to them. Wondering how to spec (at lvl 20) if im gonna level "alone" with my fopbot all the way to 50.
And suggestions to spots would ofc also be welcome.
I found this:

So Spragg Den 20-25
Kaolnith Caverns 25-30
Darkness Falls 30-35
Corus Mine 35-45

But only 5-6 years old guides concerning specs for leveling... they all said verdant...

Typical animist lvling with bot would have been to go full verd, put down a tank shroom, buff it up, set it on aggro, put downa bunch of DD shrooms, pull with con debuff or nuke or whatever, and stand inside the shroom spamming pbaoe.

Dunno if it worth it now with only 5 shrooms. Prolly as easy just to go full arb and lvl using single bombers rather than fart about with shrooms. Can put down a low lvl creeping pet on aggro with the snare to make it less risky.

I been leveling with verdant so far, but had alot of PL, now im 45. It seems ok, as long as the FnF focus fire on a single mob, else they just die to quickly and get to many resists.
Now at 45 i think i will do task dungeons with BB along me.
