Never really liked Murray just cos of his general lack of persona. But seriously impressive performance last night, not many can make Nadal run out of ideas from the back of the court. Going to be close tonight. Depends which Fed turns up: Fed of 2003-2007 and the first set against Djok or 50+ unforced errors a match Fed 08 edition. Murray in 5 if 08 Fed or Fed in 3 if Fed plays anything like he can.

Federer was on fire in the first set and the third. Murray had a window in the second set, but Federer gathered himself quickly and the mistakes simply stopped.

It was like watching an amateur against a pro at some points, the shots that Federer came come out with while at full stretch are incredible.

Murray has a long way to go, but beating nadal was a start.

He was outclassed last night, simple as.

He should be disappointed however that he couldn't close out the second set because he dominated it. Federer was taking nothing off his service games, and Murray was making inroads into Federers.

Yeah and there was that moment he actually got the point in at 15-40 or 30-40 and the chase system said it was in but the line judge called it out. Breaking his serve might have changed the complexion of that set. Still, the Fed is awesome.
