this is the youngest ever recipient of the congressional medal of honour, he was 13 when he joined the army for WW2 and this is a brief story of his life in the marines, pretty bloody amazing stuff tbh.

i cant see how he is a hero to be frank,
dont get me wrong he has some balls doing what he did but he broke the rules whenever he felt like it, not to mention building his whole career on a lie.
If he was blown to bits in the first instance there would be a upcry about how someone so young could "sneak" into the front lines.
