Diablo - The original would be so much better if it picked up some of the new things in Diablo 2 like highlighting loot and the running feature and the extra item slots.
Resident Evil 2 and 3 - I would love to see them get the same kind of graphical update that Resident Evil got on the GameCube.

Actualy Dungeon Master was the first RPG i played somewere in the mid 80's, i even have to buy a 512k memory expansion to play it on my Amiga ow and that was so expensive...

Played DM several times with different characters, and there was not much else to play in that type of game that time, really hated those Atari users because the follow up on DM was developed for Atari first...

Then Ultima7 came out and i played it on my first PC, a 386 DX40 and it was so awesome, a great RPG with great graphics and a great story line for that time, imo much better then the Baldurs gate RPG's who i didnt like actualy.

Good memoiries about the old RPG's what hooked me for months and destroyed my real life

Ufo enemy Unknown, and terror from the deep (these games where miles ahead of their time, and really one of the most interesting and intense single player games ever made)

Diablo 2:

Huge possibilities in specing, died due to retards on the net, and to hacks cheat and lag.

Baldurs gate 2:

Amazing game, would have to be a BG 3 though instead, with a new story to be as captive, although the second play through using just 2 chars was funny aswell.

DAoC:

Starcraft and Age of empires 2:

some of the most dynamic RTS games made..

Heroes 2&3:

actually tbh i havent tried heroes 5, but heroes 4 didnt really do as good in my memory as heroes 3..

Master of Orion 2:

This game was ace

Civilisation 2:

Civilisation 3 was horrid, but 4 is actually good.


Generally to sum it up better:

Old Microprose (Sid Meier) games as ace, untill some stupid major cooperation (like EA)brought them and ruined it all...
