Prolly a difference between the English spelling and some other language,
with Krakatoa being the english name.

ze other one being Indonesian I guess. Anak means child. Anak Krakatau = Child of Krakatoa.

It refers to the original Krakatoa volcano which blew up in the 18oo's iirc. iirc it sent a shockwave around the world -literally- both audible in air and visible in the sea. Must have been an awesome force o0

Have to squint my eyes and read again to realise it's a genuine, non Anal topic.

Must be the overuse of the word on these forums.
