ok after playing PvP for a week or so i find it alot of fun, however after joining a guild a few days back i noticed something different!
its about this KoS system ... at the moment if a member sees a member from an enemy guild they will attack no matter what con/level ...my opinion this is a little bit backwards, let me explain
killing grays does nothing! all it is doing is stopping ppl from enjoying the game, (what fun do people get from ganking grays!?) which in turn will make alot of ppl just turn away from PvP. I've even seen purple con to me take out ppl who are gray con to me while XP'ng! sure if you want to stop ppl leveling carry on, but then who are you going to kill to earn RP's if no1 can get levd because of ppl XP killing all the time on gray cons. most of these gray cons your killing would eventually become a higher enuff level for you to kill & actually get Rps/money out of it, but if ppl keep killing them at gray con theyre just going to get tired of trying to leveland leave PvP altogther.
ok, so some of you are most probably thinking, well just leave the guild! well, unless your guilded its quite impossible to lev at higher levels as theres always guild grps out hunting. so being guilded is the only way your going to get a high level. putting a stop on gray killing in guilds is much simpler.
I could go on about the pitfalls of killing grays but its never ending, So why dont ALL guilds come to some sort of arrangement that no gray killing is allowed (unless attacked by a gray, yup this duz happen to!) This would be better all round & would make PvP alot more fun for alot of ppl & ppl wont quit PvP. Even the high levelers who are killing grays at the mo will gain something as in a few weeks most of the grays now would be more theyre con so there would be more for them to hunt & gain out of the kill
If you want euro PvP to end up like the US PvP then carry on, in US PvP is pretty empty most the time & i bet the main reason is because of ppl getting bored of being killed by purple con & unable to level so cummon peeps, make this work & let more ppl level & enjoy the game ...im sure guilds to put a ban on gray killing wont be too hard done by & would be better for all guilds!
