Mine don't and I only tend to use a floppy for BIOS updates but I don't have to as I can use the special BIOS updater that Giga-Byte provide

Havent used floppies for "yonks"

Problem is that I dont have a CDRW and use a PDCD

This is like a 3.5 floopy, but instead of a magnetic disk, its got something similar to a CD inside.

Can read an write and store up to 650mb.

Bit of a pain because no one else I know has got one.

Well as I use Zip and CDR for stuff - I look forward to a CDZIP device combining benefits of both - provided its not at DVDRW prices

Bloody hell that was close !
One of my Heatsink fans had failed and my exhaust fan has gone!
Oh well good spring clean and new fans - all sorted.
(nearly had meltdown - not kidding )

I use floppies constantly for backing up my Rebirth files, MIDI sequences, synth patches (SYSEX files), and emulator ROMS. I do burn roms to CD, but some of my favorites get backed up to floppy as well.

I also keep several floppies handy with Linux/BSD/Solaris boot images on them, plus I have at least 10 copies of a nice single floppy linux distro that I use to read the password files on NT/2000 machines.
