Well, just read this in some greek site and though it could be quite good to mention (hope I translate it ok-ish):

A politician died one day and arriving in the other world St. Peter greeted him. The asks him:
- "Where do you want to spend your eternity? Heaven or Hell?"
- "I am not sure" the politician said
- "Well, then we can do this: You will spend 24 hours in hell and 24 hours in heaven and you decide afterwars"
- "Sounds good" says the politician

So, then he takes the politician for his 24 hour test of hell. The politician is surprised seeing eveyone having a great party, playing golf and other games and generally having even better time than when they were alive. Even Devil was there with them telling good jokes and having fun. Before he knows it the 24 hours pass and is moved to Heaven.

Heaven was a pleasant but rather calm place. Angels playing peaceful music, people discussing with God on various issues and genrally a nice calm atmosphere. Before he realises it those 24 hours pass as well.

Now comes the time when St. Peter asks him:
- "Ok, you had your test now. Where would you want to go?"
- "Well, Heaven seems so peaceful and calm but all my friends were on Hell and were having quite a good time. So, I choose Hell." he said

His wish is accepted and so he is sent to Hell. But now, Hell looks totally diffferent. It's awful place, with bad atmosphere, and everyone working carrying stones and doing heavy work. Devil was now above their heads, shouting commands etc. The politician seems disattisfied so he goes to the Devil and asks:

-"What happened here? The day before yesterday everything seemed so nice and everyone had so much fun. What changed?"

And Devil answers:

- "Well, then we had our campaign which went good as today you voted for us!"

He means it didn't make sense...

I think normally the punchline is something like;

"Right, back to the torture chambers"...
