Its funny how in the last year Pendulum have blown up but some of us have listened to them for the last 10 years. I still think everything they make sounds exactly the same. Slam was proabably one of their best tunes

Hogwash, i was dancing to pendulum at Peach, Camden Palace back in 01/02

Hence the "really" they were underground and barely known so early, they didn't move to the UK until 2003 (originated from perth) until they jumped the bandwagon with 31 Records hardly anyone had heard of them beyond the underground scene :p

They blown up for all the wrong reasons, pretty much anything they made after Hold your colour album has been shite, they went for the pop market. Their older stuff like Vault and Tarantula used to be caned at raves, now any credible DJ would not let any pendulum vinyl near their needles. Needless to say pendulum probably have made a bundle off going a lot more commercial, shame they abandoned their old ways though.

Yeah its way to mainstream, i dont mind like granite and blood sugar say in a normal club sometimes can be fun but they wouldnt dare play it in a proper dnb club

That's first thing im doing when my exams are over, getting wasted and going timbuk2 in bristol i think, i prefer club back in maidstone though, outside courtyard which is nice in summer

Yeah i remember every week being at Camden Palace (before the disgusting name change) and Slam would play without a doubt, the place would bounce, there was another one around the same time but the name escapes me at the moment
