Birthday coming up and I'm off to Amsterdam for about 3-4 days.

Now its not the usual thing that you are probably thinking of as I've been to Amsterdam loads as I used to live in the NL and I'll be with the gf. I've seen all the main tourist cr4p and am wondering if people can recommend any bars or clubs away from the Damrak area or anything else to do thats a bit different.

Can anyone tell me if the IT club is still going? Used to love that place, mental as it is. Oh and is the Melkweg still running too, loved watching bands there.

Please no recommendations for places like the STABLEMASTER or anything like that lol.

aye, iirc the IT is still there (not sure though, been a while) Melkweg deffo is there. I'll see if I can dig up some cool places to go for you.
