Anyone who has a stealther alt or stealther main cares about stealthers and stealther war balance. Thats prolly well over half the daoc population. Out of this population a large number subscribe to a buffbot account as well. The stealther boards on VN for example are the most active boards than any other class boards. Stealthers are a big part of daoc. This is a fact.

Stealthers gank every solo non stealther they see ruining any form of solo rvr so why should ppl care if they all nerfed?

Stealthers are no less or no more RP hungry than any other player. Common mentality in daoc is to kill anything enemy you see. FG's run over solo stealthers with equal vigor to stealth zergs pwning solo non stealthers. This isnt a stealther mentality problem its just the way people are in daoc. Non stealters say stealthers always add on their FG fights, so they will pwn any solo stealther they see!!!! Stealther say FG's always run them down so they will add on any emeny FG fight!!! Point is regardless of all this Crap. Enemies will kill each other regardless of numbers, odds, classes etc etc.... (sure its funny how desperate lots of players are for RP, but dont misassociate this to be a class specific diesese of some sort, you been playing to long to be that deluded)

If stealthers had stayed solo or small numbers etc you wouldnt be nerfed but by forming stealth gank groups and ganking solo ppl/leeching/destroyinbg fg vs fg u lost all respect from the rest of daoc

Tbh thats one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard anyone say.
Stealthers have as much right to hunt with their RL or in game friends as anyone else. Solo'ing is cool and has its advantages, but has its drawbacks. Some players hate the idea of teaming up, its can be a hassle they like to avoid or a point of principle about how they thing the game should be played. At the end of the day play the game to have a laugh, if you get drawn enough to be concerned about the ethics of playing a stealther and NOT teaming with your friends or guildies or whatever cuz its unsporting, then you need to take a break cuz u iz taking the game far to seriously.

FG's add on FGVFG in the same preportions to stealthers adding on FGVFG's.

When people start believing that there is a generic persona associated with the class someone plays I get really worried.

Stealthers are in line now, and they have been for some patches.
What people are mistaking as yberstealthers is stealthers with capped buffs.
On the same level and buffs the game is quite fair atm, and add in SL and PN
i think non stealthers has nothing to whine about. Trust me a good groupclass
with capped buffs destroy a stealther anyday.

What is not fair atm is the strenght of the indivual stealthers 1on1, where especially archers and sbs seems worse off. The new ra changes looks like
this will even up, but looking at frontier i think its more about participating in
battles than to do 1on1 in stealthwar.

Ae mezz poison, vanish, uninterrupted fire, ap absorb, det.... think it shows
what way Mythic is trying to push stealthers.

Personally Im not surprised that Alb stealthers are made even more unstoppable with the RAs coming. After all its no secret that Mythic developers like albion etc.

I personally wont be around though when these things kick in, so that will be 1 less NS to get :kissit: raped by albies.

if mythic loves albion than there shouldnt be bonedancers,savages or enchanters. Also animists with ToA were rather powerful, allthough that has been nerfed slightly.

Btw, if you look at excal's population stats on sites like duskwave, you'll see stealthers account for about 17% of the total character population.

Now, for the people who rolled a stealther because they either genuinely liked that char type, or because they have trouble getting groups because of the hours they play, you have my sympathy.

But with the new expansion, Mythic definitely seem to be trying to cater for the remaining 83% of the population, and trying to move RvR out of the emain rp-farming that it has generally become.

Well can't edit my own post, but that should've been 19% of the total number of chars are stealthers. That doesn't say how many of them are lev 50 or actually active though.

Albs now have most of the utility of a standard 8 man RvR group in stealth form:

CC
Heals
Melee
Ranged damage

Why not go the whole way and give one of them a PBAE too .. oh wait Infs just got that didnt they?

They got pbaoe too if they are near structure, right? Go check Frontiers for mgs and come back and tell us. As for rest structures, no one makes you go close to them...
