Ambient music

I've turned it off , cos it was getting a bit depressing.

It's sorta creepy, and when I'm back in the old zones, the perky town music cheers me up.
Don't know about you , but when I'm in SI zones, I feel sorta isolated, like I'm miles from home.
I suppose that is part of the intention, but there is much less of a feeling of community out there, no doubt it'll pick up.
I guess it's because there are so many new chars and you don't recognise any names.
Am I just a wimp?

I turned off that damn music almost immmediately. But I listen to my personal playlist from winamp so :p

Don't think you are a wimp, I've pretty much avoided the SI areas as I can't be bothered to explore em yet.

Camp forest drives you paranoid too
Loads of people I talked with so far have turned it down as it's perceived as 'creepy' or 'depressing'.

As inqy, I just put on my winamp playlist :)

Kudos to Mythic for making the ambient music on/off switch accessible right in the game. I turn it on when I'm in the mood for it and I turn it off when I'm not - or when I'm in RvR, because it seems to eat up more processor power than you would think.

If I had to log out every time I wanted to switch it on and off, I'd just leave it off.

I like it, but cant say ive listened to the alb versions (if they are idfferent to mid), but its nice to have something other than the normal clip clop of hooves on the 10 minute journey from svas to gna.

I quite like it but do agree its creepy at times...not that that's a bad thing IMHO :) Enhances the atmosphere when you explore the new zones.

i like the new music, i turned off the old music since didnt think much of it, where as new music sounded more suited to game and bit more profesional no offence to original creator. but like someone said at least if you dont like it you can turn it on and off to suit without having to quit the game, maybe future one will let you play mp3's etc. think the guitar one is one of the better ones of the new music as well.
