you wont get addicted that fast, it isnt heroin :p

what your discribing sounds more like a "caffeine hangover"

Excessive caffeine intake can lead to a fast heart rate, excessive urination, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, anxiety, depression, tremors, and difficulty sleeping.
and hihi

Too much (overdose) of caffeine can give you all sorts of grief such as stomach pain agitation, anxiety, restlessness, confusion, seizures, dehydration, faster breathing rate, fast heartbeat, fever, frequent urination, increased sensitivity to touch or pain, irritability, muscle trembling or twitching, vomiting, sometimes with blood, fibrocystic breast disease, ringing or other sounds in ears, seeing flashes of “zig-zag” lights, and trouble in sleeping. If you are diabetic or insulin resistant, caffeine causes your body to produce more insulin and you don’t want that. Caffeine makes all aspects of a menstrual cycle worse. Isn’t that bad enough some months?

And still I drink about 5-8 cups a day ;)

I've been cutting down on the coffee lately. Got nightshift twice a week and used to drink atleast 12 cups both nights.
My belly couldnt handle it in the long run and now I am down to 3 cups a night and green the and water. Feeling like a girl tsk tsk.

But no I really don't think that you are already addictive to it hehe. You might just like it ;->

Prolly due to you being totally wasted from a nightshift. Get some sleep and the disturbances will go away.

As for myself, I also been quitting cafeine in a progressive way. 1 year ago i used to take 1 coffee with my breakfast, 1 coffee during the mid morning break, 1 coffee after lunch and prolly another 1 during the afternoon break, to end up with a shot of Coke with my dinner. Way too many cafeine, even if it never affected my sleep in any form (i'm able to drink a cup of coffee before calling it a nite and still get my usual sleep).
I replaced the above for:
1 cup of coffee with breakfast
1 brick of juice in the morning
1 tea (or another infusion like camomile tea) cup after lunch
and just water.

The only prob of this routine is that my bladder have gone wild lately :

Fact, caffeine protects the brain from degenerate diseases of the brain ie Alzheimer's. Also keeps you sharp in the mind. Tea actually has more caffeine in it than coffee and if you go to your local GP. You will find that your quack actually recommends you drink lots of it but ofc in moderation.

Stop kicking yourself up the butt for no reason. You are actually doing something to improve your health, just don't go ape shit with it like it's a freaking night out on the beer lol.

Oh gods, tris- has become one of those "used to be smoker" who are, in all honesty, worse then the f*cking anti-brigade :eek7:

And when they rejoin the smoking wagon one day, they act like they weren't.

Worse f*ckers around.

Thought, all the twitching and irritability is from having too much, not withdrawing from it. I generally need a pint-szied thermos-mug full of the stuff to get started in the morning, an addiction but who cares - at least you can control when you feel good in the day.

Drink 4-6 strong cups of filter coffee a-day and no problems. Used to drink alot of coke on top of that and sometimes had issues sleeping and v annoying twitch sometimes in the eyelid. Small thing but drives you nuts after a while.

Te reasons why the pre-smokers are worse are these:

A: They used to smoke, but now that they quit, they act like it's some kind of achievement. It's not, you started(f*cked up if you will) and now corrected it. +/- nothing. We're not handing out lollipops to people who never smoked either.

B: They usually, when drunk, say those lovely lines "Oh i've quit but could you throw me one, i only smoke when i drink etc etc."

C: They very often start the habit again, and then they act like they never were in the anti-brigade.

D: They know bloody well how annoying it was when people told you to quit, yet now in their "new found faith", they do the same f*cking thing.

Not saying you do any of these, or will do, but you seem to be heading that way.

Saying personal happiness on kicking the habit is fine, joining the anti-brigade after being a chimneytop is not.
