Hi m8 Guards of Avalon clerics and me in particular I always stop to rez a dead alb......besides its 130 ish rps plus

thats the only way they get rps tho

So.. they rez you. And you´re standing at amg, rez sick, with low hp (or do you expect a 100% rez?) and unbuffed amongst all those NS´s and SB´s and a Cleric of a fg is running around with 50% power for the next couple of minutes.

It´s just common sense to not rez people in RvR (unless it´s 20 meters outside of atk) not a display of ignorance or elitism. Always release and come back. It´s faster for you and better for your realm.

With the amount of RP you make from rezzing you can buy MCL2, Raging Power, Serenity

I rezz everyone. I see very little reason not to rezz.

1) a cleric is never good enough according to his group mates
2) a cleric always has to think off all, while the other just think off their damage dealing
3) a cleric has to keep his whole realm running...
4) a cleric has to live with the fact that he is the least respected player out there and the PET of the group.. ready to be flamed at, ready to be ignored etc..

Iwill rez anyone if my group is not moving, and i think i have enough power. The group comes first then guildies then others.


But talking about rezzing, i remember the old days of Xping on salisbury, when you got constantly spamed for rezz. And when you finally trecked all over salisbury plain to rez them, a passing pally had done it and then forgot to tell you.

I quickly becames a friend of /anon

im a minstrel , not a scout/infil and im not very high RR so i dont solo cos i sucks balls at it, my grp was on sauvage pad and had missed port

ofc theres no way they couldve known this, but passingme 3 times and surely noticing i hadnt released was annoying.. but hey comes part and parcel of having the stealth ability, which imo, shulda been stripped off mincers at lvl 5 . Or make us come off the fighter table <givf evade or parry or shield to compensate> , but hey thats another thread

Its actually far better than it used to be pre TOA.
I never used to get rezzed but now with FoP's all over the place power is less of an issue for peps.

Speaking personally I can understand why clerics don't rez out of grp. I wouldn't like to see the clerics in my grp running around on 50% power when we could really need that in our next encounter. I am a pally tho so will stop for a second to ghetto rez someone. I've generally been cracked from the grps sorc and as long as I'm not going to make myself oop I'll rez. The only time I don't is if we have inc (in which case I'd probably be joining u chewing turf lol), or I get a "givf rezz now" demand.

Btw can anyone figure out these afk dead ppl? Personally I'd rather go afk while waiting for mr visur and friends than face down staring at worms, but it takes all sorts I suppose.

Stealthers

Why flame all stealthers in this thread? Some people seem to forget that it is realm v realm game. If a large fight breaks out at AMG/MMG and the stealthers camped there take out the odd caster or healer, so what! Personally I don't see why should expect them to just sit and watch. Especially when it was probably them that supplied the opposing forces position in /c.

If they're following you around all over Emain and adding fair enough, flame on. But come on, be fair they have a role to play.

And what if a fg passes just as you rezz some chimp of a stealther who cba to just /release? And the pala rezz isnt a vaild argument im afraid, palas need pow just as much as clerics.

You die, you /release. End of.

If you dont wanna release then reroll a group friendly class so u will get to group with clerics.

If possible, I always rezzed people out of group. Happened only rarely it got me in trouble and I played my cleric a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time (rr8l6 for the record ).

The "you lose 50 % power" might sound like a valid argument on paper, but the reality is the "1337" groups just don't want to waste any time or attention on (in their eyes) n00b amateur soloists.

Then again it's their call, but indeed it's a bit sad.

What happens if the next person who comes over a hill, and sees you dieing in a 1 on 1 fight (possible) ...and decides..tough luck...my money, my call,,,and leaves you to die, would you simply think "ah well" or PM him saying "wtf didnt you help me n00b??"....because in the end..all this realm will be is, fook you all...i am watching my back..tough luck and tough shit. My money, My call. Maybe it is...but it leaves you sad and lonely. And, remember...people in this game have a long memory for players who piss them off. Or, what goes around, comes around.

Haha, trust me.. I am not the sad and lonely type. I've made way more friend than enemies in the time I've played daoc.

Oh.. and I would prefer that alb not to help me tbh. I lost a fair 1 vs.1 fight so my enemy should be rewarded with realmpoints, not with an adding alb.


And tbh mate, people in this game have a memory lasting a week at most in this game. Remember all the people stealing artis, remember all the people stealing drops from sidi raids? No one cares for longer than a week.

And as the 'what goes around, comes around' bit concerns, I truly hope so. I add as on few fights as possible, hope that ever comes around as well. And I don't want a rezz after losing a fight, I'd rather release to get my buffs back.
