There are some annoying problems that makes them all suck.

1. Where did the henchmen go?

Where are the Jaws, the Oddjob, Mayday, Baron Samedis ?
It's all so fucking bland now.

2. The plot is shit.

Casino royale - oh you can have carchases, fights etc, to get Le Chifre - but you can't just use a snatch squad to take him in 2 seconds? Besides as a villain he sucks dick. He's an accountant.
OH MY GOD, HE MOVED A NUMBER TWO DECIMAL PLACES, WHAT A MONSTER.

Plus the poker scenes were all wank.

Quantum of Solace - can anyone explain the plot? It was retarded.

Skyfall was dumb as fuck as well - the whole revenge plot with the elaborate setup - why even bother? Load of nonsense.

The cinematography is nice, and the bit in scotland was good, the rest was terrible.

Spectre - What a load of shit, forgettable henchman who they wasted minutes on setting up, the evil villainous plot is "more cctv ahahahahahahahahaah".

They even managed to make Christopher Waltz dull, some smiling mincing assclown of a villain that wasn't remotely threatening or interesting.

Daniel Craig is a great bond actor, but the writers and directors are complete shitnoggins.

The worst part for me is they are trying to Humanise him with tales of his childhood. Who gives a fuck all you needed to know about Bond in the good old days where he would kill the bad guy and shag the hottest bird there.

But I agree these plots trying to make it more realistic are shit. I want a bag guy in a hollowed out volcano ready to drop a nuke on New York just to be a dick. If he happens to have an army of smoking hot ninja babes then I am fine with that!

The turd plots started in the Brosnan era after Goldeneye , The World is not Enough was basically what if Rupert Murdoch was even more evil than he is... so he can...
SELL MORE NEWSPAPERS!!!!!!!!

Although that film had a decent henchman ( Stamper ), and a cool stealth boat + a good bond girl, the actually plot/villain were shit.

Hmm. Agree on CR and QOS but Skyfall was OK.

Best since Goldeneye.

Probably because they have gone more serious than the previous ones. I can't even remember one cheesy line in the new bonds yet I remember loads from Goldeneye etc.

I think most of us here were raised on Roger Moore more than Sean Connery. Not that Sean didn't have cheesy one-liners too.

I am still pissed off that we have little baby James Bond and the fact he is a person not a designation. Something like what happened in The Kingsman would have been fucking epic. 007 is James Bond, not James Bond is 007.

I agree with ECA, I haven't really enjoyed any of the new ones. I did however fucking love Kingsman!

I think Skyfall was far better than Spectre, then again I think it's because the old Dame says good night more than anything.

I don't understand why they can't just make a conventional Bond film, without doing things that they shouldn't really be doing, it's a bit like Dr Who, you can't have an adventure without them messing with things that have never been touched on before.

I liked Skyfall, not so keen on the rest. Not a huge fan of modern Bond films anyway, not since Goldeneye.

As in every film he's in Connery was god awful. Moore was perfect as Bond.

The Man Who Would Be King. You're wrong. And Moore was good in the first three he did and terrible in all the rest.

Not seen it but was he Scottish in it or something else? Either way he had a Scottish accent right? Like when he's Spanish or Russian or English etc. He's an awful arrogant actor.

Agree, it's just a shame all his bond films were shit.

Connery's the best bond by a country mile. The others all have something great to give. Even Lazenby. In hindsight, I like Brosnan the least tbh but I think that's more down to how bad the films got rather than his own performances.
