Tragedy. OMFG. The most awesome thing I've listened to since I woke up an hour ago.*

*I have been listening to Iron Maiden, so this makes it pretty fucking awesome.

Excellent! I caught Def Leopard doing a live version of something at the Abbey Road studios, can't for the life of me remember what it was, but remember thinking how good and nothing like their usual stuff.

Pffft, Live After Death is their best work, though Powerslave is pretty awesome too.

Definitely.

Powerslave

Close second, was Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner on that album? Thats just an awesome tune. I spent many childhood hours studying the Iron Maiden album covers and Powerslave was the best.

Aye, Rhyme is the last track on Powerslave. Though it doesn't really fit with the rest of the album for some reason, its a totally different mood from the rest.

Oh man I need to go listen to it now. Maybe Powerslave was the bestest after all.

Powerslave had 2 Minutes to Midnight on it. Nuff said.

It would have fit on X Factor along with Sign of the Cross and Lord of the Flies!

Not really :(

Some of my other favourites are Flight of Icarus and Wrathchild

While on the topic of Iron Maiden covers, has anyone heard http://www.theironmaidens.com/ ?

I found them surprisingly good :(
