Aliens Versus Predator Original

I forgot how much i used to love this game back in the day, with the aid of the newest patch and a cheatcode i bring to you predator with spear
(on a side note i had to run up to him and hit him otherwise he kept shooting me with his shoulder cannon, damn him :/)
Excuse the gfx fraps seems to make the game crawl to a halt on 32 bit gfx at max resolution for me so i dropped it as low as it would go

Tbh even on lowest gfx the game looks pretty good :x
Anyway back on topic, soon as i work out how.
how many of you would be interested in a old style avp deathmatch ^^

nop thats the original on lowest possible gfx (Marine, the bonus mission called Vaults)
bloody impressive since it was released before half life
but its gfx was its bane, you had to have a uber pc for the time just to run it at a good standard ><
You could probably download it as there is no cd key

Wasn't the original AvP actually an Atari Jaguar game from the early 90's? If i remember corrrectly it was probably the finest FPS of it's generation as well. The AvP PC game was damn fine as well though, my mate Slainyou was a demon at that game.

Original AvP was on Jaguar indeed, and one of the few games that were on virtual goggles thingies.

Never got to test it though.

me if i can be the only predator amoungst a ton of marines...

used to love going in as a predator in a "marines only" server and then pick them off one by one was great to have every marine go hunt for the predator insted of eachother

oh and marine minigun sound >>>>>>>> any other minigun sound in any other game that exists
