Sega ruined their own console line IMO, funded medieval total war and ruined it IMO, and now have funded avp and that appears to be ruined too IMO. IMHO (<---- make note of that) sega can't seem to grasp what their consumer wants and that effects the outcome. If you've played the game then you will notice how rushed and clunky it feels, developers don't rush games publishers rush them. If you haven't played the game then why are you here commenting?

If you want evidence that the funding company have an direct effect on the outcome of a product ask yourself this, who is responsible for the shitefest that is alien 3 David Fincher or 20th century Fox? (I don't care if you though alien 3 was good, you're clearly wrong and your opinion is null and void )

I happen to work for a company that are owned by SEGA, since we have been under them we have sold more copies than ever before, and reach a much bigger market. So why are you commentating about how SEGA and the games industry work, when you aren't involved in it? That's even more drastic than "not having played the game," which I have. It's not perfect, there are flaws but to suggest it is down to rushing developers is hilarious and a typical assessment of someone who just doesn't understand how games are made.

I personally like the game, sure it has flaws but I've been having a great time on multiplayer alll weekend with a few friends on xbl.

Oh and I personally don't have a problem with Alien 3 either it goes back to Alien and is more suspensful then Aliens due to being only 1 Alien. I don't give a shit if some fat arsehole thinks my opinion is void.

Heh, Alien 3 is dire. Very little tension, low atmosphere and the only meagre suspense it manages to conjur up is based on how people felt about the first 2 films. Proper suspense in the first film, gung ho action and a few good jumpy bits in the second film.

Caveat: Not seen the director's cut. Based on comments above (and elsewhere) I've been told this may change my opinion. However, it has to be said that I've seen all the films at the cinema and my response is based on this experience. I'll get around to checking out the director's cut at some point

Anyway, I like this iteration of the AvP games though I wouldn't describe it as long term fun. Marine is fun anyway. Not played Alien yet but I find predator fairly dull, clumsy and predictable.

Creeping along dark passages with the ol' blip blip blip is just as scary as its always been.
