Alien vs Predator 2

Anyone remember this game? i dusted it off the other day and decided to play through it.


I started on the Marines mission and the shitting my pants all came back to me man this game is just a jump out of your seat and shit yourself fest!


The multiplayer community is still alive not great but its there.


Anyone else have fond memories of this game?

Would be really awsome if they made a new game based on the HL2 engine or better yet the Doom3 engine..

we always used to play this game at the LaN party I used to go to, 20 or so college mates playing it on the quarantine map(I think) in the game mode where all but one of us started off as marines, the other being an alien, when the alien kills a marine the marine who died respawns as an alien, it goes on like that untill there are no marines left.

anyway, on this map its all perfect alien hunting territory, nowhere to hide, except 1 decent room, which of course we all sat in and waited for the alien(s) to attack, atfirst we'd be ok, but then as soon as someone got killed, and we had more than one alien coming at us, things would get dodgy, and there'd be all these marines sitting in the room and screaming like girls when the aliens attacked, it was hysterical.

it was even better when just 1 marine was left, hiding in the room, running round in circles with 10 or more aliens trying to pounce on him.

only really played it over a LAN though, never bothered online, it was one of those games where everyone would be shouting and laughing at eachother while playing, great fun

Yeah, what ever happened to decent innovative multiplayer games like that. I never really got a chance to play much of that because way back when it was LAN only but it had some very cool MP modes.

Yeah man i loved it.. i was either a Drone or a Runner loved hiding up on the roof and when some dude walked in i'd headbite him was cool.

Wish they would make a new one.
