Missing out if you solo play IMO. This game is all about MP.

And it's a bit naff with only 2 players as well. You're pretty much forced to go Tech (required to complete most maps) and Medic (to stay alive, duh, including against parasites).

Thankfully tdc and someone else came to rescue maccath and I last night, definitely more fun with 4 .

Although now I think about it, I could have looked up the commands to spawn bots for the other two slots for at least some firepower.

Haven't played the Offline yet, just read that an actual working FPS Mod is heading for Alien Swarm. Will be looking forward to that. Just noticed Alien Breed is on offer on Steam and reminds me of Alien Swarm, though I buy Alien Breed just to see what the fuss is about.

yep, starcraft has been eating my time, but I do that SP, and I feel the need to use my headset...


I couldn't bear to get a cheapy one, and so I went all out and got a senny pc 360. It's justified because my old senny hd 580's are knackered after 10 years. Honest!

Just downloaded and tried this myself with a norwegian friend really good game considering its free, also quite a challenge if you don't work as a team properly.

you people have no idea what a good medic has to go through when Chetan hosts a game

getting stuck behind pipes...not being able to pick up the medigun after accidentally dropping it....MYstIC G shooting you with the minigun.....Chetan setting you on fire.....the list goes on and on
