And I never get all the "effect on children" bollocks; I learnt words like 'shit', at the age of six, 'fuck' at about seven, and 'cunt' at nine, and that was later than most of my friends

And thats ok is it? Call me old fashioned if you like but to me that is very wrong....

I did laugh when he said that Sara and Zoe Ball should be lezzies because Cox and Balls would be together...

Though I'm an adult now I don't recall being traumatised in the slightest, so long as I resisted using such words in front of my elders. I couldn't see the problem then and I still can't now. I'd still never say 'fuck' in front of my parents, for decency's sake, but kids will pick up these things easily; no matter what censorship TV companies supply, they're only blocking out stuff can be learned later on in life anyway.

It's a complicated issue, no matter what; I'm still not sure this post actually makes sense - ignore if it doesn't =/

He used words that people use everyday, but some of them seem to be offended by that. Personally, I dont think they should've stuck him on before 9pm, like TV really innit. He may have got carried away, but that'll teach the BBC a thing or two about who they book and when.

As you may gather, I'm not a huge fan of the BBC at the mo'.
Has something to do with their current bloke in charge.

Can anyone explain what happened to BBCThree. We have BBCone & two already, and four launches in march, are they not msising a number?

I wonder if they ban playing his single. Ah there both a pair of useless cunts, Ali G and the BBC, they're both annoying.

Didn't it become BBC Choice with a move to digital?

To my knowledge, Choice was always called that, and as such, doesn't count (because they've other channels too) and even were it originally bbc3, there's certainly no bbc3 now, so why skip a number? :/

No more so than BBC4. At least there's no channel actively called 'Channel 3', unlike 4.

I think BBC 3 was rejected by the Culture Secretary and were told to go away and have a re-think about the content.

Does Wizard's avatar remind anyone else of Frankie's, at a passing glance? :/

Indeed, I remember something about a BBC channel's content being rejected. But the plans were revised, and are being put up for recommendation again, which makes me wonder why they're likely to release BBC3 after BBC4. It'd just make more sense to call the new incarnation 3. Chronology is nice.
