Met Aleven about 12 or so times since i joined the thid brigade.

To sum up all the fights:- I Target, I Stealth, I land PA;At first i take him down to 30% after then he is out of sight/not in view for the rest of the fight, he heals and bosh im dead.

Reason is he strafes to make me not able to target him. It is like a romantic dance after i land my opening big shot. At first i thought what a lame mutherfukker and gave him the usual /rude, /slap but tbh he is a Caster and if i was in his position i would do everything i can to avoid melee attacks.

12-1 to him at the moment but i consider it a challenge to get him down that extra 25-30% hit points so he is eating turf. Also there must be some way i can try counteracting his sidways shuffle.

If he stood still and cast he would die in about 2 or 3 seconds so the fights are always good when they last around 20 seconds with one of us narrowly winning even if it means him strafing.

You should use Dieases on your weapons to stop him healing effectively, have a 2nd weapon with dots on em to so you dont lose out. Also try walking backwards from him if he starts strafing. /face is also usually effective. Failing that go in and out of combat mode, running through im and choosing when to use a style or not.

I've fought him Aleven a few times on my Minstrel Norse / Wiz Magi and Chanter Kaole. It's a BD. They are ridicously overpowered with healing pets and 4s insta life tap, its old news. Just avoid the templated / BB / BD's and you wont get too annoyed .

Any caster that has the cheek to staff you while your meleeing them should die really. The BD is an exeception unfortunately.

When i actually see a death spam made by you mate you cant say fcuk all!!...mabe BD is an easymode class but aleven (Jim) is prob one of the safest people you will ever meet.and will help regardless!..
