We have such an annoying chronic shortage of healers in the battleground. Half the time im there, the healer count is 0.

I see mids especiialy and hibs getting healed and rezzed constantly. I dont think ive ever seen a group larger than 4 mids without a healer, whereas ive seen groups of 20 albs with none.

I hope tis situation changes

I havent played Alb in a while but there is never a shortage of friars however you do seem to hugely lack in clerics.

Luckily I'm lvling up a BG only rejuv-cleric, hopefully I wont be the only one.

Having healers is one thing, having healers that get a chance to heal is something else.

My advice if yer short of healers, ask in Camelot for an Alchemist to make you up a batch of healing pots.

albion heal/res classes = the cleric (that no1 wants to play since nerf)
and the friar - that only ppl who know the game realise how good they are


hib heal/res classes = bard/warden - 2 v attractive chars to play for the speed/bt issues let alone heal/res

mid - healer - the BEST cc in game


so no1 really wants to play an alb heal/resser whereas lots of ppl play hib.mid chars that (as a side benefit) can heal/res.

Reason you see no healers in Thi is the fact they almost never find a desent group and the only thing they are allowed to do is res and be killed. They can do a lot more but people start to shout/whine. All clerics and most frairs I know just say, BG is not worth the frustation so we skip it. At level 45 its only 12 hours of RvR to make up for the lack of rps from all 3 BGs together and much more fun.

Yep - unfortunate situation but if you're not prepared to play a healer/rezzer to make up the shortcoming then why would you expect others to want to?

Ive played a bard, a druid and a shaman in the BG's and I loved it. I also particularly liked these chars as they were very easy to lvl (got into grps easily and always lower lvl than the rest of the grp).

So far I've lvled my cleric to 16 and it hasnt been easy, the people of albion are complete and utter arses and if Thid is to be at all the same (presumably it will be as it will be the same people) then the chances are I will lvl straight past it.

So its not that your support classes are underpowered or that hibs/mids are totally uber. Its because you treat clerics like shit, the lack of clerics is noone else' fault but albions!

Albion dont have any clerics couse they are so damn boring to play without a nice smite =(.
Almost all albion clerics are now Buffbots... that suxx

I tried playing a friend of mine's cleric in BG....

:sleeping:

It's just like PvE, except you get spammed for rezzes even more.

Oh and theres te added chance of getting mezzed, so your group dies, and asked why u didn't heal (like PvE, with mobs attacking you :p)

I've played two rejuv clerics and a friar in BG1. It's complete HELL. Everyone wants rezzed immediately. Everyone wants healed immediately even though you're not in their group. Everyone wants buffs.

Thidranki is full of the highest concentration of newbie Alb spastics EVER.

The times I've been in BG1 playing non-clerics, the majority of clerics/friars there simply didn't know what to do. A perfect example is DoTs. DON'T SPAM HEALS! USE CURE POISON! AAAAAARGH!

ppl don't play clerics because 1 they r boring, 2 they r boring, 3 yep u guessed it there boring :) ok they get spamed for rezzes in the most stupid places. they get spamed for heals from ppl that rn't in there grp the slightest mistake they made they r flamed for by the noob whose having his first time in bg etc. + ppl have the cheek to ask for buffs when there not even in ure grp. Friars well a friar does not spec to be a healer though he specs to be melee. all the friars i have pld with in bg when i pld alb were abit annoyed with getting spamed for rezzes as well 1 of my friends actualy deleted there friar over it lol
