Albs take Caledonia

After a few failed attempts due to no healing and rezzing, Albs take bg3 today thanks to the timely arrival of a single Friar, when 2nd door at 30%, and great work by the 14 or so Albs there

Nice work keeping the Mids out =) See you all later.

(P.S. I run out of wood, but the doors are at level 5 & 3, fully repaired, so if the Mids want it back they better get rams )

Well done all albs, although I have never been to BG3

One of these days, I'll have to level up but still having fun in BG1 - at least when I'm not examining the grass at close range, which seems to be rather often these days

Nice fight albs,
Iwasnt there when u took it but was there most of the day defending it.
mids did well with defence imo,none of this crappy hiding in the keep crap we ranabout abit and made a fight of it.
noticed the tide turning when 4 necros came out to play an lead most of the charges.
Oh and whoever has a necro called vamparic in their guild,pls tell him not to hide his necro pet under the middle bridge while he lies in wait above on the pillar.Luckily 1 of our guys saw him and being a sb went looking for the hidden pet b4 we ran past otherwise that los abuse would have prob killed most of us b4 we found the pet as only his hand was visable in the wall.
Other than that well played all realms involved,enjoyed it

bah i was playing there for like 2 hours that afternoon but got annoyed that i wasn't rezzed afew times as mids rushed to atk oh well with my lil shamy ramble dunno how u albs took it oh well how many albs were in caledonia when u took it btw?

About 14 Albs including just one friar (only healer/rezzer) who turned up after 2nd door was at 30%....

Was best bg3 teamwork I have seen.

When you consider earlier on there was about 12 of us including a cleric and a friar, but when I got a ram on the door they didn't understand the concept of healing or grouping the rammer, even to the extent that when I did die, I auto back to the pad, and that happened TWICE. [didnt auto 2nd time just released, like waiting for paint to dry, especially scream-venting when u see the cleric actually hitting the door instead of healing and rezzing]

Playing an Alb is like gambling, when it goes well it really does go great, but it is rare to win the jackpot, most of the time your just pissing your money away...

Anyway we dont it in the end and I had another fun night, even if the day was a bit...annoying.

And Leathal, despite what you have said : My scout has hit 1L9 already, got another 1k+ RP, solo, no buffs etc today! Scouts maybe gimped but I have fun with mine You missed a good day m8

Too bad I'm capped and missed it all. There have been a few good keep raids, most fun was with an infi group taking out archers and few mids who were still inside keep. That time too we only had 1 healer, none in the beginning thats why we had to use the infi strategy.

What is it with all those clerics/friars hardly any of them in BG3

I don't know for sure, but I think the clerics/friars don't go to battlegrounds as much because of the hassle they get there. When my cleric was battleground level, I went I think once, before I got fed up of getting yelled at constantly to rez people (even when oom and this was before necro power transfer) and heal people, and when someone died/didn't get a rez straight away, you would get people bitching you out royally.

IMHO we need to treat our clerics/friars better, and yes this does come directly from playing one

Until we do so, people aren't going to want to play them, or are going to be constantly /anon - I was for about six months - and things are going to be more difficult.

NB: This is not aimed at anyone in particular, I haven't been in BG3 and don't know anyone there, nor is it aimed at BG3 people in particular, just happened to be in this thread

I have a Friar and Cleric too and allways on anon. Hate rezz request and want to kick some ass in a group in Avalon. If I see dead people though I will rez them.

Most annoying is, when you're soloing with a friar which isn't the best healer and they keep asking you for heals which if you do increases your downtime with a lot.

its not always greener on the other side. you can say that alb is the only realm when sum 1 would rather get rp then rez ure sorry ass but that is not true this happens in every realm get over it

well i don't know how many shadowblades infis or nightshades have see hidden in bg3 for u shadowblades and nightshades see hidden made an average class into an annoying and frustrating class

lol well i dunno what the average alb n00b is on alb excalibur anymore, but with my bb shamy i was never once spamed for rezzes. In fact the average mid would rather release then w8 for me or the healers or other shamys to rez them

depends what the average age of an alb is im yet to realise there age rate although i haven't met any complete twatish mids yet. im sure there r sum but not as many and im sure all albs can agree about the average spanish n00b

I didnt say they was gimped i just said your Theurgist will be more helpful/useful than your scout , but i guess its what you like playing what counts, cya in BG3 buffbot

I have a little scout I'm going to level up (eventually) to BGs..

She's going to be great to see how many times I can get killed by different classes in a night

Oh and to count the misses and fumbles

Scouts are awsome in bg's, problems don't start till real RvR with the See Hidden etc.

Well at the moment I've kind of gimped her so I can't solo her at all... well not unless I solo green mobs which I don't really want to do (and may not even be able to do that).

So I have to wait until my husband can help her level one or two times so i can re-balance out her spec so I can play her again.

She's my fletcher, so can't reroll

Is just slightly annoying...
