Okay, a few Albs teaming with the Mids shouldn't have soured our 'friendship' but it has. Lets just accept it was all the Albs fault and the Hibs where blameless.

I have to admit, I was sitting on a giant mushroom hugging a small tree when I first heard about the Albs helping Mids in a fort takeover or something. Then we hear of them camping. Then we have Alb Infs attacking us in our fort yard.

You can't blame the Hibs for wanting revenge. We we're quite content on trying to hurt the Mids. It seemed some Albs wanted an easier game so the joined the dark side.

I thought it started when some albs took the hib merchant keep from the middies, and then after losing it, the hibs retaliated by taking the alb merchant keep, which was owned by mids

But maybe I missed something

completely ignoring my my first post here. one event shouldn't be the cause for hibs + albs to take up arms against each other...not yet anyway we should deal with the immediate problem (mids) before we reaallly start to kick each others teeth in

ps, i dont know who the albs were or if it was part of the alliance i was in, im quite positive my guild had nothing to do with that particular jaunt.

nobody can promise a thing, because basically, we're at war still

story: albs took hib keep owned by mids..so hibs took alb keep owned by mids in retaliation...albs went to get another mid owned hib keep, and hibs took an alb owned alb keep.

hibs came and took alb merchant keep(owned by mids) in retaliation.

albs let hib keep it for a while(we thought u might want to stock up on siege items to kill mids),and then took it back.

OK, from what little i know(which may not be a little), the truce was pretty much "you leave us alone, we leave you alone". Nothing major really.

The thing is, if i see hibs in emain(omg really?! ), they're toast. Thats life, ok, we can ally for keep raids and stuff, but as for emain RvR, its no holds barred. If the hibs bring their entire realm out and camp our PK, hey, oh well(tbh, i think the hibs are much more honorable RvR players, i never get jumped on or laughed at and they always stay at the MG most times). If i find you in our frontier, ill shout on guild and alliance and proceed to cut you in half, purple con or grey con, its just the way it goes. RvR is savage, and if you come to albion dont expect niceties.

You must realize, that as far as my knowledge goes, those few infiltrators were acting alone. While i wont condone their actions, it happens, some people die, oh well. I apologize if this severely hindered your effort but tomorrows another day and bledmeer aint going anywhere fast. During the time hibs were defending bled, most of our alliance was taking sursbrooke and benowyc, and i hope none of our members took place in this.

Also, i know when the hib/alb thing started. A late night albion force took Dun Crimithainn in Breifine a few days ago, and yes, it was from the mids. The target then became Dun Crauchon and unfortunately mids foiled that plan afaik. Throughout the past week for some reason everyone wants to take DC(thats Crauchon.), ive seen 70 albs in emain and 30 still want to try again, and yet again they are foiled.

I heard recently an albion force directly took a hibernian keep; i cannot verify this. I can tell you that the "alternate" alliance on Alb/Pryd which as yet doesnt have a name(ie, not Unity) had little to no involvement in either bledmeer actions or directly taking hibernian keeps. We did retake Caer Sursbrooke, Caer Benowyc(which was hibernian held at the time), and attempted Caer Hurbury(damn bugged guards and keep lord...), but No castles were captured outside albion territory with our alliance's planning and knowledge afaik.

I know i wouldnt move against a hibernian keep in midgard, more power to ya, but if you take benowyc again ill see you in a few days with 50 guys to take it back, its that simple; same usually goes for the mids. Albion castles should not be violated by an outside force IMHO, so if you need siege parts i suggest you try Bled again or retake Dun Crauchon.

I prefer to not have open war between albions and hibernians in the traditional sense, but not everyone can be controlled, and stuff happens.

Scared? Me? Bah! I was happy to get some action. If I had not been so laden with asterite I would have jumped down to the courtyard and had built a catapult to give you a nice warm welcome, you ugly pointy-eared brats. And I'm no archer, I'm a mercenary, puny lvl 33 by the way. I just happen to have a nice shortbow with me, which I at least had to fire once before getting nuked. I could not have done anything serious to stop you anyway. After we retook the keep I again stood there crafting on the battlement, and a shadowblade ganked me with his axe in one shot. <Yawn> Saved me the stroll to the PK

And this is war after all. And I see no point in having a truce with Hibernia. They are the enemy just as much as midgard is the enemy. It was actually fun to fight something else than those stinky trolls.

This so called truce is annoying me now

If i see a hibbie or middie then i will kill you or attempt too. You are both enemy realms and although i see some logic in the teaming up of hibbies and albs to take the relics back i also see it fraught with problems. Kill or be killed is my motto and is one that serves me well. I also like the old saying of beware of an enemy that comes offering gifts as i think it's particularly applicable here.

Those of you albs that are up for a truce ask yourself why not try and unite all the albions first in a proper ORGANISED RvR raid? Try and organise a huge raid with all of our lvl 40+ players and see what happens first before we go to the hibs for help.

The truce, as it where, is not an alliance. We do not actively team up to take forts etc.

By all means, please kill anybody you see, it's what RvR is all about.

What we are trying to say is that while we are attacking Mid positions we do not expect Albions trying to attack us to get some easy kills. It's not very honourable, something I admit to not caring about myself, but you Albs seem to live by it.

I couldn't care less about you taking a fort or us Hibs taking a fort, as it is common knowledge that they where both owned by Mids. It's the fact that increasingly you Albs have started teaming (either directly or indirectly) with Mid forces.

I mean, these Mids have camped your MG since the dawn of time, took pleasure in killing you all and now you are strong enough to fight back, many of you decide to team with the Mids and try to kill this Servers weakest realm.

For shame guys......for shame.

The Templars never organise guild events to Emain. I believe it to be the most pointless form of RvR fighting. No objective, no clear victory or defeat, no organisation. Just running backwards and forwards providing pointless RPs to the enemy. From time to time a few of our guild apparently visit there to try out their hand to hand combat, but it's never official. Unlike what happened to you at Benowyc the other night.

It's possible that Emain combat is now changing, with the fighting over posession of the merchant keep. In which case we may be visiting there soon. But until then, you're safe to keep hugging your trees and doing unspeakable things to your shrubbery. But touch any of our albion vegetation and we'll make you eat a lot of grass !

God you Albs are so big headed. Every battle I've been in against you guys has been a dissapointing Victory for us Hibs.

Yet again Mythic has let Hibernia down by making the number one RvR battleground as far away as possible from our gates. It's right next to our merchant keep so it's near impossible to defend or hold for more than a few minutes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining really, it's just annoying having to go all that way to kill some tin heads.
