view alb guilds by last weeks rps and there u have your answer (discounting the zerg guilds)

altho several rvr guilds are rvr-inactive atm, or just getting going again after toa in our case.

and no we arent recruiting.

unless your an experienced, smart, rvr-addicted and very active cleric/paladin or possibly reaver/cabby ;)

EDIT: with arti's and ml's ofc :p

Isn't really any active rvr guilds atm, and you would be lucky to get into a good one by asking on forums :p Think alot are rebuilding group setups etc as merc group doesn't cut it these days. We for example are currently levelling up new toons for a sorc / caba debuff group. My advice is to just ask around for groups all the time, soon people will start to take notice of you

tell konah...

atm it seems to be that the standard balanced mid group vs standard alb group is okish ..... both sides can kill each other..

but the "hardcore" mid group with healers as soujuners and no skald's i have no clue how to kill as an alb group...

to much interrupt/heal/damage...

the standard alb group vs standard hib group loose's big time ... but when you get good players and the rigth setup i think you have a small chance vs the "hardcore" hib group .... not that i really know becuase i only see em in the MG room's atm ...

so any hints about how to make merc groups work would be nice ...

random mids are no prob, havent been for a long time. nolby were never easy and they are even harder than ever atm. not really fought them enough yet (only 1 clean fight without adds/fanboizergtail so far and they hit us from behind... ofc... :touch: ) and not with our planned grp either. we just trying some different stuff atm.

hibs are very doable, i'm not gonna go into details here, cos if i do and it becomes common it ceases to work ;)

so umm carry on rolling your caster grps with no GP and good luck! :m00:

We Have good tactics to beat toa hib groups, but the fact remains its not half as effective as it was, and to beat the best hib groups u basically have to hope they mess up, not to mention how boring it is playing a tank now (just from my pov). I still enjoy playing my merc solo but find group rvr frustrating now. I still think the setup is viable, the mercs just need to kill there support first and let our casters (theurg / sorc / icewiz (sometimes)) take care of there bodyguarded casters. They almost always have there battlemasters stuck to there casters so if your fast you have a chance. Ice pets on bg'ed casters is vital aswell.. and of course all the banelord abilities make nice interrupt tools, and not forgeting zou :).
Having played in a fixed tank group for about 8 months now I think we were getting pretty tired of it, and TOA has just sped up the process. We will carry on levelling our casters, and I'm sure we will have alot of fun with it thanks :)

Or, as in the case of a certain Albion RvR guild, have turned their backs on Albion and gone over to the Enemy!

Any tactics we use now will basically be thrown out the window soon as new frontiers comes anyway, albion gets a big kick in the teeth when we lose our RA advantage, and then the distance between good classes and struggling classes will be increased dramatically, and good classes was never an albion advantage.

Use them in mixed groups. With end pots, we had alot of success when you have merc, bg tank and a couple of ice wizzies (plus the standard 2 clerics, sorc, theurg/mincer). Havent got to the stage where we can put that out every night, but when we have run it, we've won more fg v fg than we've lost.

Havent run in a pure tank group since TOA so no idea how they doing against grapple/pbaoe groups, but would like to know how they do it ;) .

U missed Synergy, GoL and HB. Sure we have people that PvE, we GoL and HB have been around much longer than the other guilds, so ofc we r not pure RvR. Doesn't mean that we don't RvR. And you missed KotRT tbh.

If you wanna know who the RvR guilds are, come and stand at atk one evening and watch who is there.
