Albion double spec tests

For the benefit of those that do not read the VNboards, which I generally find to be worse then FH anyway, heres some recently posted tests on double-spec.

The basic summary is no suprise, NOT double spec does harm your damage, going over effective '50' base spec has no effect and double-spec has no benefit whatsoever over the enemy realms, specing effective 50 in base damage only brings us back in line with heros and warriors, it does not make us any better.

The only real suprise is that the actual damage spread stays the same regardless of spec, where as double-spec is supposed to tighten this. It does not, the actual variance stays the same.

Have to point out that its 2 years old, could well be outdated... though I wouldn't be surprised if its still the case, I always thought that's why armsmen were even more unpopular than other heavy tanks.

a bit OT, but you're the man to ask.. my armsman friend would like to know the link of the current armsman TL, can you pls post it Kagato ? ive been looking for it too, but didnt find it o0

The current Armsman TL report is only in 'rough draft' at the moment, the end result is not posted yet but you can find the draft in that same forum on the albion fighter professions, about 3-4 pages ago.

Im not going to look at it again to find the link as if I do i'll end up argueing with that prick of a team leader about the report again.

Theres nothing worthwhile in the report, out of the 10 'issues' he is allowed to raise, 3 are alchemy/item based issues which are not even armsmen specific, asking for more inventory space and potion stacking etc.

The first issue he is messing about with the defenders rage style leaving it open to getting nerfed and the rest is pretty much negligible.

As you can see im not happy about it, hence why im trying to avoid the topic, and the tl, if I wasn't on the EU serves i'd be after the useless worms job.

yeah doublespec does nothing good, it's a penalty you can avoid if you use your specpoints.

The penalty isn't as big as poeple originally thought it was (don't have to have modified >50) but it's also not a bonus like people thought it once was.
