just another rant i`m afraid about RvR

stand and fight Albs!!!

you`ll probably die but get some realm points .. run away you`ll probably die and get no realm points i know what i`d rather do i`m there to fight and gain realm points ..

if i`m on my own and there`s 10 mids charging at me i charge the casters and start wacking you never know you might just take one down with you

it seems that hibs/mids are encouraged to charge because they know we`ll run...if they think we`ll stand and fight battles in emain will change forever

i mean the first time you pulled a tangler..12-14 orange con mobs running at a group of 8 of you... did you run? no! and why not? because you know people would die..there`s really no difference in RvR at all.

Yes you guys really need to stand your ground more, the night before last was the worst example of this..

over a period of nearly 6 hours the albs spent the whole time running from the amg to the apk. In that whole time, they made 1, yes only 1 charge at the amg. (and for much of the time they even outnumbered the defending hibs, at one point they outnumbered us more than 2 to 1 and we had no bards as our only one had LD died, -this was when they actually did charge for once- but they waited so long to do it our bard had time to relog and get all the way back to emain before they got round to it:rolleyes: ) It was possibly the most embarrassing display I've ever seen. when one of us ran at you solo to suicide you guys even ran back to the apk then... :puke:


/salute to gladiator tho, the only one of the albs present who had any guts whatsoever. If there were more albs like you we mighta actually had to fight something for our rps instead of running down fleeing albs non-stop

Thats the main reason i left this fucking game, to many people scared shitless that there bunch of crappy pixels will 'die' to another bunch of crappy pixels. too many times did i have to solo a red con while everyone stood and watched, looking in my direction but pretending to not have a clue. all i can say is DONT GOTO THE FUCKING FRONTIER IF YOUR GONNA SHIT YOUR CYBER PANTYS COS YOU JUST SEEN A BLOB OF PIXELS RUNNING AT YOU.

P.S. Also, the general lack of teamplay in Albion was a big factor

The only time i saw an alb standing still was because he lded right in front of us;)

and newbie, last months I have seen some really good teamwork fron our side and the things you talk about doesnt happen much, except at tanglers

well atleast our organisation isnt as bad as albs on excal =)

There's also always some stupid mid going /afk after rushing forward to apk, and then 10 mins later when he returns to his computer, he'd complain in CG about leaving people (him) behind ... :rolleyes:

Then there's the unfortunate ones, like me, who just crashes to desktop with more than 20 albs in sight, and then relogs only to find those same 20 albs beating the shit outta you :twak:

Hibs doesnt know what the other end of a mg camping is like so im not gonna comment on the first post.

It's much harder getting the trapped people to zerg through than standing on the other side mezzing 30 people through that tiny little gate then hacking them down.

As you noticed last night you attacked us once full frontal and died because of it.

So...if a zerg is camping my milegate im getting in a minstrel team and we *will* continue pulling them to apk for as long as it takes... :m00:

TBH I've given up hoping that the Albions will charge, so unless I know we severly outnumber the enemies past the milegate, my group will kite. This will, and often has, killed people (mostly those without speed), but frankly I no longer care. Albion has never shoved any inclination towards actually fighting, so we just make do kiting for RP :p

At least we attack sometimes. Cause that is the only way to get a fight in those situations where you have more then a few groups on both sides of AMG. Albs sure dont do it.

Playing a computer game watching a wall for an entire night where a number of people stare back at the wall from the other side and paying for it is not my cop of tea. /release is about the worst thing that can happen.

Yes you killed us, yes we were more then 20 at the time so well done.

I do not think the so called tactics will change on single bit in the near future. Hibs will show up in Emain in big numbers....we will charge.......possibly die and come back again.....

Btw rushing through a mg when your casters are on top of the battlements keeping alb casters well out of range from the door makes that attack much much easier. Like i said you have no cencept of what it means being trapped behind a mg. You come from your BK to emain and have 2 open ended milegates to zerg.

Not a complaint, that's the prize to pay from messing around in your enemies frontier....

Good point Chavez, it is our frontier and we defend it with as many Hibs as it takes. Can I have my cookie now :)

However I do not get what in this situation that gives us so much advantages in a total. Yes we have casters on the walls giving us a real advantage that is true. But we also have the parameter in this that there is a 3rd part in the war known as Midgard that any time we hang at our favorite spot can attack us from behind. Meaning standing around will for sure get us sandwiched sooner or later....

2 front wars usually end bad....at least in my history books.

BTW: If you come up with the 'defending our frontier' part, don't complain about Albs running. Be happy instead, since the primary goal of defending your frontier is not to have any enemies there, right? :p

Last night we tried something that we don't usually try: Having groups at both milegates.

2-3 groups at each one with me, err another group, floating about between them worked brilliantly.

A lot of Middies arrived at the mmg and the 2 groups there were able to hold them off until the rest of us moved from amg to mmg and ran right over the Middies hehe.

We could, technically, say that the Mids turn and run from us, but they don't do it with just one person in view...

Takes at least 2 :p

some people haven't got the time or the inclination to run back and forth from pk to amg. Its boring and for the most part a waste of time.

Unfortunately, it happens so often, running albs don't surprise me any more :( whichever guild they are from.

as for someone else saying its hard for albs to zerg the mg, well it seemed straight forward enough last night...when everyone finally joined in anyway.

I typically get at least a thousand RP or so doing a MG -> PK run, which is more than I used to gt trying to get the Albs to attack ;) We determine whether to attack or not based on the amount of increased CPU usage when approaching MGs; yes, you CAN tell how many people are hiding there without even seeing them :m00:
